"Life Lessons"

TLC has what I thought were spoof commercials for "life lesson" figurines with helpful advice such as: "Dating is awkward but so is becoming a crazy cat lady;" "When the baby needs changing, remember rock beats scissors," and "Never introduce her as 'My future Ex.'" I totally thought they were making fun of the whole motivational poster, jesus as sports figurine aspect of our culture and maybe they are but the things are actually for sale. You can actually buy a figurine with the reminder that "when you go for the extra large soda, bring your extra large bladder"

Now I don't know what to think - but I do have a strange urge to get the rock beats scissors one for my sister and brother-in-law
